Basic Wordpress Build

Scope of Work

Goal:

Create a simple informational business website using the basic tools of wordpress.com, that can be maintained by Northern Pines Engineering without the need to regularly employ CJCreativ to make changes.

Site Specs:

4 pages - Home, Services, About & Contact
Pages will include images and written copy to highlight the business

Workflow

Preliminary Design:

CJCreativ will provide Northern Pines Engineering with a preliminary design concept for the new website. That design concept will include:

design layout of all pages
color palette, font choices, etc.
stock photos and placeholder text where appropriate

Northern Pines Engineering can at that point request one round of design revisions within the scope of the Fee Schedule (see below).

If more revisions are deemed necessary at that point by Northern Pines Engineering, the work will be done at our hourly rate of $50, with a total design revision limit of 3 for the project. This is rarely necessary, especially for a simple website project such as this, but if necessary will be discussed fully before any fees are assessed.

Finalizing Design & Launching Website:

When preliminary design has been approved, all final changes will be made to site, including the uploading of client-written copy and photographs. Client will review and approve each page on the site before designer will launch live website.

Fee Summary

Price per page: $200

Total website: $800

Website Design & Setup:

4 pages - Home, Services, About & Contact
create a custom website interface - layout, colors, and fonts
set up website architecture and navigation system
basic SEO using standard wordpress tools (plugins not applicable)

Fee Schedule

If Northern Pines Engineering wishes CJCreativ to go forward with the project, the fee schedule is as follows:

50% due upon acceptance of the proposal before work commences
25% due upon delivering the completed design for all pages
Final 25% plus any incurred additional hourly fees upon completion of website build.
CJCreativ will launch website upon receipt of final payment.

Terms & Conditions

Once project fee is paid in full to CJCreativ any elements of text, graphics, photos, contents, trademarks, or other artwork furnished to Northern Pines Engineering for inclusion in website are owned by Northern Pines Engineering.
CJCreativ assumes Northern Pines Engineering has permission from the rightful owner to use any images or design elements that are provided by Northern Pines Engineering for inclusion in the website, and will hold harmless, protect, and defend CJCreativ from any claim or suit arising from the use of such elements.
CJCreativ retains the right to display graphics and other web content elements as examples of their work in their portfolio and as content features in other projects.
CJCreativ also retains the right to place a discreet text link at the bottom of the website page(s), crediting CJCreativ as web designer.
The agreement contained in this contract constitutes the sole agreement between Northern Pines Engineering and CJCreativ regarding all items included in this agreement.

Next Steps

To proceed with this project:

Accept the proposal "as is" or discuss desired changes.
Please note that changes to the scope of the project can be made at any time, but additional charges may apply.
Sign contract, provided upon acceptance of proposal.
Submit initial payment of 50% of total project fee.

Once these steps have been completed we will begin the project.
